What is EFT & What can it do to support Horse Owners & Riders?

EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique

EFT is simple, easy to learn and very effective. In fact I use it every day for myself particularly since going through the menopause and dealing with the brain fog, lack of energy, feelings of overwhelm, anxiety and mood swings. I personally have enjoyed huge benefits - which is one of the reasons I qualified in 2016 as an EFT Master Practitioner, and updated my qualifications during lockdown in 2020.

What is EFT?

EFT involves tapping on Acupressure points, also known as Meridian points on the face and upper body whilst focusing or talking about the problem. By tapping on these points and focusing on the problem releases the trapped emotion and to find balance.

How can it help me with my horse riding?

I have found EFT hugely effective in working with horse owners and riders for many a variety of reasons. Here are just a few examples of how it can help you:

  • Re-balance fear after a bad fall which has upset you and your horse.

  • Help with your competition nerves

  • Help with your lack of confidence

  • Help with fear of riding alone

  • Helps settle a new horse with a new owner

  • Helps with the stress and anxiety about a yard move

  • Helps you to let go of your limiting beliefs in yourself, your horse riding, and horse ownership.

  • Helps with grief, guilt and feeling conflicted about the loss of a horse friend.

..... and more.

EFT can be done whenever you need it. During your EFT session I will show you how to use EFT for yourself as you will be taught the tapping procedure and, after a few sessions with me, you will be able to use EFT on your own. The more you practice, the more it will be an efficient and valuable tool.
