"Breathing out, I am home.”

"Breathing out, I am home.”

Sometimes, this is the only way forward with your horse - it is the work that all horse owners and riders need to get done. I will be honest with you - there’s no way to get around it.

As Robert Frost once said, “The only way out….is through”.

Alex found her way forward through breathwork and learning the simplicity of conscious breathing with her horse.

She allowed every soft exhale to communicate assurance, caring, compassion, confidence and friendship. Sharing a sense of calm which ultimately allowed for the two of them to create a happier, healthier partnership.

Together we consciously breathed in affirmations - a powerful combination in horse work.

“Breathing in, I let go of my worries and tensions.

Breathing out, I touch peace.”

“Breathing in, I open my mind to look deeply at my fear.

"Breathing out, I am liberated from my fear.”

During Alex's session time slowed down for us, for a little while.

While this experience unfolded, she and her horse were anchored in the moment, in full presence - where anything and everything becomes possible in real time.

A few days later when Alex looked back at her session she told me that a different kind of clarity surfaced which helped her fill in the gaps that she had been searching for solutions to, for her and her horse.

Those solutions were more vivid and yet simple, uncomplicated, Alex said she felt she had been reawakened to the present and future possibilities and has never looked back.

With then look at things with hindsight and realise that everything was there all long, all the clarity, calmness, and solutions were there for us to tap into - It had just become buried beneath the surface of all life’s distractions, demands, obligations, and responsibilities.

But none of it ever disappears….it all remains, waiting there patiently, to be reawakened and for us to say "YES today is the day I will open the doors to coming home to my breath."
