Fear Less Coaching for Horse Owners

Calling all you horse enthusiasts out there! Whether you own a horse, love horses, or just enjoy being around them, this message is for you. If you're feeling unsure about yourself, dealing with anxiety or stress, or struggling with your self-worth, I'm here to help.

Imagine how things could change for you if you were to act "as if" you believed each of the following ideas?

1.  If what you are doing isn't working do something different.

2.  There's no such thing as failure - only feedback.

3. A positive intention underlies even apparently destructive behaviour.

4.  We are all doing out best at any given moment, even when we are screwing up spectacularly.

Take a moment for introspection and consider how things may be different for you personally, your horse, your partnership with your horse, and your overall life. Reflect on what you want to change and develop as a horse owner/rider, horse person, or for yourself in general. Ask yourself important questions such as "What do I want?" "Where do I want to go?" and "What am I willing to do, learn, embrace (or not) to achieve my goals?"

These reflections I offer can really help you figure out what's going well and what changes you might want to make to keep moving forward. Whether we're meeting in person or online for coaching, my main goal is to teach you how to be your own best coach, both for yourself and your horse. I want to help bring out the best in both of you.

We all put a lot of time, money, and effort into our horses because they bring us so much joy. But let's face it, sometimes things don't go as planned and it can be tough. My goal is to help you understand yourself better and figure out what really matters to you in your equestrian adventures. During our sessions, I'll share coaching tips, exercises, info, and ideas to help you strengthen that bond with your horse, boost your confidence, and get the support you need to keep progressing.

When it comes to coaching in the equestrian world, the relationship between you, your horse, and me as your coach is pretty fascinating. I play a key role in helping you all work together in harmony. My coaching style goes beyond the usual methods by focusing on the bond between you and your horse.

It's super important to create a supportive space where your horse can feel confident and really get into the groove. Think of your horse as a valuable team member, which opens up new ways for us to work together. This could mean you stepping into a coaching role with your horse, or even trying out equine-assisted coaching where your horse gets to call the shots.

When we respect each other and are open to learning from one another, amazing things can happen. We can build a strong foundation of trust, communication, and understanding. Together, we can strengthen the bond between you and your horse, and discover exciting new opportunities for growth and connection in your journey with horses.

I love it when clients share photos of themselves and their horses, and I'll always be your biggest cheerleader as you journey forward.

My coaching style is all about helping you see things in a whole new light, bringing out the best in both you and your horse. I do it in a friendly and encouraging way that makes learning fun and boosts your confidence. The key is effective communication, making sure both you and your horse are on the same page and building a strong bond based on trust, respect, and just plain old fun together.

Sessions start from £50 for an hour, and are available online or in person at your venue if you are within 30 miles of CW8.

Earlier this year, I found myself in a dark place in my relationship with my horse.  Doubts had crept in, causing my horse to shy away from me at every turn. I was on the brink of giving up, but something held me back.

I had been observing the What Horses Teach Facebook page for some time, and It made me question if the problem wasn't with my horse, but with myself and the energy I brought into our partnership.  Chonti gently guided me towards a new way of being with my horse. Through her teachings, I began to trust in my own intuition, moving through the world alongside my horse in harmony. Each step we take is deliberate, a joint decision made with mutual understanding.

Now, my horse is content and serene, and I am at peace. Our bond is stronger than ever, built on a foundation of trust and respect. We have found our new beginning.     Katrina R
